jvider plugin for Eclipse is available now. Plugin
is based on jvider 1.7 version (standalone edition).
You can download it here.
Requirements
- Eclipse 3.0 final or 3.0M8 is required for the plugin to work.
3.0M9 and 3.0RCx seem
to have some minor issues handling Swing components (SWT_AWT) and are not recommended;
-Java™ Runtime Environment 1.4 or later is required.
-Mac OS users: There are reports of jvider
plugin for Eclipse not working on Apple systems. We are working to resolve the
problem. Your patience and provided information is appreciated. Thank you.
Installation
jvider plugin is packaged as a single .zip file.
After download extract it in Eclipse
home directory on your system (for example C:\Program Files\eclipse).
Close Eclipse IDE (if running) and start it again.
Open Help->Help Contents->Jvider GUI Developer Guide from Eclipse menu.
Read Getting Started and go through Tutorials provided.
Licensing
jvider standalone and plugin versions are to be considered
branches of the same product. So, the same license is valid for both
standalone and plugin versions.
